No matter how many times you have given birth, but particularly for first time parents, childbirth is a journey into the unknown. Our childbirth preparation course is designed to teach mothers and birthing companions techniques for safe and satisfying birthing through guided imagery, visualization, and special breathing.

We offer group or private, in-your-home HypnoBirthing® childbirth course taught in five, 2 1/2 hour sessions. The HypnoBirthing® method is as much a philosophy of birth as it is a technique for achieving a rewarding, relaxing and stress-free method of "birthing".

HypnoBirthing® teaches you, along with your birthing companion, the art and joy of experiencing birth in a more comfort-able manner, most often free of discom-fort and the need for medication.

When a woman is properly prepared for childbirth, and when mind and body are in harmony, nature is free to function in the same well-designed manner as it does with all other creatures.

Postpartum Support

After the baby is born, most new parents are greatly in need of extra support.

We will assist the mother in talking through her birth experience, answering questions about newborn care and breastfeeding within our scope of prac-tice, and refer the family to appropriate resources as needed.

Parenthood is a major life transition and the adjustment period feels less over helming when people are available to ad-dress your questions and concerns. It is for this reason that women and their families value the help a Doula offers.
